If you're like most people, you LOVED Black Panther and wish you could live in Wakanda! Well, African Soul International has a close replacement, the Culture Camp! Started in 2005, as a Kwanzaa Camp, to teach the culture and history to youth during times they are on school break, this camp has been a phenomenal cultural experience for youth AND their families!
This year's camp will feature: 1. Literacy: The theme of the camp will be based around the children's book, Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters, an Award-winning tale of good character and African principles of life 2. The arts: Each student will get their own drum that they will decorate and own Each student will take dance, drum, theater, and visual arts classes 3.
